Meadowlark Stables is a prime destination for equestrians of all levels. Formerly JMS Equestrian Centre, we are dedicated to continuing the legacy of a quality and fun-filled equestrian experience. We offer a full service boarding and training facility operated by Stephen and Ginette Wallace as well as a growing school horse program operated by Stephen Wallace.
The school horse program offers a great learning environment for complete beginners to a more advanced rider. Meadowlark Stables values the importance of knowledge and skills in the tack but also on the ground, including care of the horse, proper tack cleaning, etc. The school horse program runs on a weekly basis consisting of primarily one lesson per week.
Meadowlark Stables offers a full scale boarding arrangement that coincides with the lesson programs. Board starts at $380.00 a month which covers hay, minerals, and salt. All boarders are expected to take at least one lesson a week so our trainers can ensure a progressive training program. Our show program runs on a weekly basis consisting of two or more lessons per week with one or both of our trainers. We offer 3 different lesson rates for both boarders and school horses. We offer a variety of different lesson programs with the coaches including our show program and lesson horse program. Our facility is located approximately 4 kms east of the new east Country Hills Stoney Trail overpass, or exactly 11 kms east of Deerfoot Trail on Country Hills Boulevard. We offer an enjoyable, safe, family environment with an insulated and heated 120 x 60 indoor riding arena along with a heated lounge. In the summer, we have a large 100 x 200 outdoor sand ring.
