Veterinary Services Ltd. is a mobile veterinary clinic based out of
High Level, AB. The clinic travels to Rainbow Lake, AB four times per
year. The clinic also provides veterinary services to the following
communities in the NWT: Hay River, Ft. Smith, Ft. Simpson, and Ft.
Providence. Full-time companion animal boarding services offered in
High Level, AB. Equine services including castrations and dental
floatations in High Level, AB.

On their most recent trip to Hay River, just past lunch, my wifes small dog was choking. I just happened to be in town and ran home. We took the small dog over to their trailer. There was a lady out front waiting for her appointment. We ran in holding our dog. We were met with the male vet. I exclaimed our dog is in distress. He coldly responded, do you have an appointment, walked by us to ask the lady to come inside. I said he is choking, he looked at him from across the room and replied, you would need to pay, book an appointment. I patted the dogs back and he coughed up something. He then told me, oh by the way, if he chokes to death, you can't hold me liable.
ReplyDeleteI have never in my entire life met a vet who cared more about the money then the animal. It makes you wonder just what level of care you would get for your beloved pet. What a cold hearted thing to do. Thank the lord above he didn't die, this vet would have done nothing to prevent it unless we handed him cash.
