SHIMMER-E EQUESTRIAN

Shimmer-E Equestrian is located approximately 20 minutes north-west of Edmonton, 20 km north of Spruce Grove (north of Calihoo, west of Riviere Qui Barre).  We have room for two to four horses for winter board in private or semi-private paddocks.

We are an outdoor-only facility (Rome wasn't built in a day either...) with an outdoor arena, outdoor stalls, insulated tack barn, pastures, auto water, PLENTY of quality hay and a very friendly, helpful atmosphere. 

Our specialty is rehabbing rescue horses.  We are not a rescue, but have had much success bringing back living skeletons to life, working with the owners.  At the same time, it is quite nice to have the retirees out too, or your performance partner.  Broodmares in foal also welcome to join with our broodmare herd for an all-inclusive rate (includes special broodmare ration).

Our board fee includes hay and a grain feed program.  $175/month is for our standard maintenance program.  Special circumstances determine special pricing.  We have a fantastic farrier and two vet clinics close by as well as numerous indoor arenas. 

We are proud of our production of quality half-Arabian and wamblood sport horses.
