Freedom in Motion Equine Therapy is massage-based equine sports therapy, dedicated to helping your horse feel their best. Certified in 2006, I employ a variety of techniques, assessing each horse independently and establishing a program for each horse's needs. I also assess saddle fit as this is a common cause of back pain in a horse.
Have you ever noticed your horse:
- head tossing?
- Refusing to pick up the correct lead?
- acting girthy/cinchy or difficult to tack up?
- having difficulty with lateral movements or turns?
- lacks forward impulsion?
- has unexplained lameness?
- has a "cold" back?
- having difficulty with sliding stops?
These are but a few of the signs your horse might show when in discomfort. If you have noticed any of these signs, your horse would be a good candidate for massage!
Benefits your horse will receive are endless. These are just a few:
- Increased performance and flexibility
- Improve overall circulation
- Increase range of motion
- Enhance gait quality
- Reduced tension in muscles
Again, these are just a few of the many benefits of massage. Book your appointment today to help your horse feel and perform at their best!

I am so pleased to have met this incredible woman and needless to say so is my horse. Not only is she skilled, she is well connected, and compassionate. Teresa tackles all the horse's sore points, her husband is our farrier and does amazing work as well. My daughter rides the horse in jumping competitions and travels to shows. It takes a team to be a winner and we always win! My horse sees Teresa and he licks his lips. I see Teresa and sigh! I am thankful!
