At Hat Creek Horse Company we raise, train and show world-class performance horses. We raise Quarter Horse, Paint, and Appaloosa Performance Horses.We have finished Reining horses for sale as well as Reining Prospects.
Our broodmares include daughters of SMART SPOOK, MONTE VERDE, BRENNAS KID, HICKORY HELLO & ISLE SLIDE WRIGHT ON and most have earnings over $10,000. With recent foals by legends like GUNNER, SMART SPOOK, CUSTOM LEGEND and more on the way from SPOOKS GOTTA GUN & HEZGOTTABEFAMOUS.
Many the horses Ryan and Aaron have trained are being used by teenagers for competition and we sold a 4 year old gelding to a 72 year young gal who is still competing in reining. Ryan and Aaron's training programs are simple - they ride the horses consistently at least 5 days a week and are consistent in what they ask of the horse. They train the horse based on its individual needs, rather than trying to fit the horse into one program.
Ryan and Aaron have been riding and working with horses all their lives with a combined total of approximately 45 years of experience.
Aaron has the added benefit of experience riding and training English and Dressage in addition to western riding.
Ryan has trained teams for driving and put in hundreds of hours farming with horses. Ryan is also a Certified Farrier.
