Icelandic Meadows is a small ranch located near Sundre, Alberta, in the foothills of the Rocky Mountains. We are about one and one half hours driving time north west of Calgary.
Our goal is to produce quiet, versatile Icelandics suitable for family, show, or experienced riders and to help others discover the Icelandic horse.
All are welcome to come and visit and learn about the Icelandic horse, but do please call in advance so we can ensure we have time set aside. The coffee is always on and we love to talk horses!!
If you are interested in purchasing an Icelandic, we will show you what we have for sale. If you are unable to find what you want here, or wish to look further, we will help you establish connections in the Icelandic horse community. Of course you need not be buying a horse to come and visit! Just come and let us introduce you to this wonderful breed!
