Active Prohibition Orders in Alberta

Wherever possible and appropriate, the Alberta SPCA seeks to have prohibition orders included in sentencing for convictions under the Animal Protection Act.

The following prohibition orders, relating to convictions arising from cases investigated by the Alberta SPCA, are still in effect.

As related to horses, the offenders are as follows;

Luella Gamble - June 12, 2012 till 2015
Gamble is prohibited for three years from owning dogs or horses.

Patricia Lynn Moore ( recently O`Neill) - June 12, 2012 till 2017
Moore is prohibited for five years from owning more than two horses (or other animals in the horse family) and more than two rabbits.

Lawrence Bykowsky - October 31, 2011 till 2016
Bykowsky is prohibited for five years from owning any horses (or other animals in the horse family).

Marlene Glascow - August 2011 till 2016
Glascow is prohibited for five years from owning more than 30 horses.

Lynda Keating - August 2011 till 2016
Keating is prohibited for five years from owning more than 30 horses.
