Derek graduated from Oklahoma State Horse Shoeing School in 2004, has done his time apprenticing under some top farriers and has over 10 years experience.

Derek has worked throughout Alberta, Arizona, New Zealand, and has the knowledge and experience to provide proper hoof care for your horse.

Whether it be a young colt, Draft horse, pleasure horse, performance horse, foundered horse, navicular etc.... Derek has vast experience in all aspects of equine hoof care, works throughout Bonnyville, Edmonton, Red Deer, Calgary, and surrounding areas.
