CALTA STABLES

Calta Stables  is located just east of Calgary, close to the hamlet of Delacour. We have over 30 years’ experience working with horses in many different capacities including riding, showing, breeding, and training.

We offer many different services, and love to share our knowledge with other enthusiasts!

Our award winning Tennessee Walking Horses are available for special lessons and breeding – experience ‘the glide ride’ first hand.

We have many different options for board – private areas, shared paddocks, and large open fields.
 Indoor stalls are not available at this time.
Quality timothy and alfalfa hay are fed twice per day during the summer, and up to 5 times per day during the winter. We hand feed each day to check on the horses condition, and additional supplements are available upon request. Automatic water heaters are set up in each field.
All horses are de-wormed every two months, and a regular farrier service is available every 2-3 weeks.
