WILDWIND HORSEMANSHIP

COLT STARTING / TRAINING ENGLISH / WESTERN / DRESSAGE / JUMPING / REINING

Wildwind Horsemanship is now taking bookings for horse training and colt starting. We have over 20 years experience with horses and specialize in starting and performance training.

Stephanie has 20+ years experience with horses. She has lots of experience working with young/green and "problem" horses. She herself is working under one of Canada's top Dressage Coaches and has lots of professional experience working with all levels of horses and riders. Learn from someone who is dedicated in her own training as a rider and can bring to you a new and refreshing program.

Stephanie's goals as a trainer and coach are to develop a partnership based on trust, lightness and harmony. Regardless of your discipline of choice or whether you’re a beginner or an experienced horse person we can develop a program to suit you and your horse.

Training includes all care, feed, and boarding costs including supplements and minerals. Horses have large private paddocks during the day and come into stalls with runs for the night. They have access to hay and water at all times. Our goal is to ensure that horses receive the best care and are happy and healthy throughout their stay. Training programs are designed specifically for you and your horse. Lessons throughout the training period are included in the price and you can have as many lessons a week as you would like. I recommend at least 1-2x a week if possible you come for a lesson. This is however not necessary if you are unable or live far away. We are a smaller operation and therefore have the time to devote to each horse ensuring the best care and quality. If you have any questions feel free to email or call  or find us on Facebook under Wildwind Horsemanship.

FREEDOM FARMS

We are a full care equine boarding and dressage training facility that provides a comfortable, healthy and safe environment for both rider and horse.

Shelley and Ron Malbeuf purchased Freedom Farms in 2009.  The farm was originally owned by a lovely woman who also had a lifetime love of horses. Since then, Shelley and Ron have worked steadily to grow the property into a state-of-the-art equestrian facility in a park-like setting.

When you visit the farm, you’ll see that Ron and Shelley love all animals as they have rescued many; you’ll find quite a few chickens, cats, dogs and even a goat named Stoney (actually the goat thinks he is a dog and follows Ron all over the place).

Shelley and Ron are always open to new boarders and horses for training, so please contact us to book an appointment to meet the owners and view our fabulous facilities.
