Beaver Hill, Alberta, Canada
From starting and solid base training to reliable mounts available for western/driving/stock/miniature/rescue horses. We even accept problem horses. Starting horses is not dependent on desired discipline.
I have 8 years of horse training experience including rescue/recovery, abused, foals, stallions, wild, and horses with behavioral problems.

StrixLand Run Farms is open for taking in new training projects. Training starts at $400/month and on-site boarding is available (strongly recommended) for $200/month. Prices vary based on conditions, desired goals, and temperament/disposition of the horse.
Please contact for details and price lists.

Howdy there, I am the company owner and would like to address several inaccuracies within this review. It seems that the reviewer (though I appreciate the intent and support their efforts) read two unrelated ads [EquineNow and Kijiji (one of which I had nothing to do with and was primarily comprised of misrepresentation)]. As StrixLand Run I only offer training for horses. However, MMR&M also rescues animals and rehabilitates them independantly.
ReplyDelete1. I am a ways away from Blackfoot and do not use their trails often. And I am NOT located in Ardrossan either. I am in Beaver Hill.
2. Boarding is ONLY available for active training projects. Therefore I am not a boarding facility. I do not have indoor facilities: arena or barn. `
3. I also made a website for a church and the hosting company crossed their wires and were directing people to the wrong website. This company is not church affiliated. I believe it is fixed now...I hope.
4. There is no property access to trails.
6. I do not offer lessons (a few lessons with training the horse so that the rider knows how the horse works only). The picture posted is a picture of my STEP-DAUGHTER on my own horse with four people around. Unfortunately the people have been cut out of the picture, the intent was to show how calm the horse was. I do not offer lessons or riding for children in any way, shape, or form. This was an impromptu, private family affair.
