Horse Training and Riding Lessons

My name is Pam Hebner (Veer). After years of barrel racing accomplishments, I am now training barrel horse’s full time. I have had the pleasure of riding and working with Judy Myllymaki. I follow Judy’s program of training barrel horses, utilizing a variety of exercises and drills that will assist in preparing a horse for the barrel pattern. I focus on keeping a horse light and responsive in their mind and body, and believe in putting a few miles on them outside the arena as well. My goal is to develop horses that are easy for others to ride and win on. I also work with riders, helping them achieve their goals, whether it is in barrel racing or just general horsemanship. I am interested in developing horses 3 years old and up to compete in futurities, derbies or as open jackpot or rodeo horses.

I will also provide riding lessons to all levels of riders. I can provide a lesson horse or use your own horse. Check out my Facebook page Running H Riding.

I have had the pleasure and training some great horses, here are some of my accomplishments: ABRA Finals 1D Open Champion, numerous FCA, WRA and LRA successes, Futurity Short go Qualifier, and Alberta High School Rodeo Pole Bending Champion.

KOKUM FARMS

We have paddocks and pasture available.
Box stall also.
15 minutes from Thorsby arena.
We can trailer for you, for travel charge.
$225.00 month, feed included, we feed timothy alfalfa brome, and orchard grass. 
Blanket service available.
Small grass arena, and round pen for use. Plans for outdoor arena next year.
We will be hauling to thorsby a few nights a week through winter. 
Secure tack storage, room for trailer storage.

CHEYLEE FARMS

We have been raising quality horses for many years......coloured horses and some horses without spots.

It has been a wonderful life with these magnificent animals and I thank the good Lord for the opportunities and experiences we have had.

Although we have not been breeding for a couple of years now, we still have some good riding horses for sale!

Emerald Equestrian is a competitive private show barn situated on 80 beautiful acres,  owned and operated by Tami & Matt Crane. Located  west of Leduc in Calmar, Alberta.

Breeders of the highest possible caliber Warmbloods, at a competitive-affordable price and to this aim we use only the best available bloodlines from around the world. We believe that if foals are given the best possible start in life, using only the highest Graded Warmblood Stallions and Broodmares, with a winning pedigree, excellent conformation and a trainable temperament from BOTH parents, then they are in the best possible position to go on and achieve great things throughout their competition careers.  If the ability, conformation and temperament are there at the outset, then work and training should come easily to them.

We cater to a small group of very dedicated and competitive riders by offering extremely individualized care and attention.  Blending excellence, fun, and family. Riders not focused on showing also have specific goals in mind. Improving their riding skills by learning and mastering advanced exercises and continuing to master more difficult courses, with higher jumps, and building strength and confidence.

At Emerald Equestrian we pride our self on having respect, camaraderie, support, personal growth and safety. Lessons typically consist of 2- 4 riders and are arranged by the skill level of the riders and horses. Private lessons are also arranged for individualized attention. We offer training in the following programs:
