Here at KDM, we focus on breeding quality horses that are versatile, trainable and eye catching.

We currently stand two stallions. QAR Just A Twig is our 2006 ApHC stallion and Heza Frosted Dun It is our 2011 AQHA stallion. Both of our boys are correct and have incredible dispositions in addition to having come from proven bloodlines.

 
While breeding both appaloosas and quarter horses, we focus on the conformation, disposition, bloodlines and trainability of our colts. Simply put, one cannot ride colour.

 
In short we are trying to raise quality horses with unique colour being an added bonus.

HIGH MILEAGE OUTFITTERS

Taking bookings for spring training.

We are starting our horse training on February 15th 2015. If you have horses that need training or miles start booking as we fill up fast. We do 6 weeks work on your horses. We do hours of ground work to huge hours in the saddle. We take them through bush, hills, crossing bridges and creeks, trails, roads, fields, rough terrain, ect. We are looking forwards to hearing from you.

Horses Wanted:

We are accepting horses mules and donkies of any age, size, gender, ect. We are a ranch that is dedicated to our work with horses. We have 240 acres they have access to and salt, mineral, water, hay, ect. We do not take horses to auction. We do not send them for slaughter. We find them safe and approved homes.

TM BARREL HORSES

We will be offering outdoor board. Board includes: semi private or group turn out, water, hay 3x daily, blanketing (in weather below -5), tack/feed storage, regular farrier schedule and large grass pastures). 

We are located just a few minutes east of Hinton. We are next door to an indoor riding facility, arrangements can be made through them to use their facilities when required.

TM Barrel Horses was established in 2012 by Tanya Marchand. She is a member in good standing with the Alberta Equestrian Federation, Equine Canada, Alberta Barrel Racing Association and the AQHA. Tanya has an extensive background in Western riding, more specifically western speed events. She teaches both English and Western Lessons to the Edmonton and surrounding area.

Tanya believes in training at a natural pace, using a common sense approach and a gentle but firm hand.

DOUBLE ROSE QUARTER HORSES

I have two openings for this month for starting, refresher, or advancing your horses.

I am located just south east of penhold.

I have a huge out door riding arena, round pen, and indoor heated arena and barn to work in. There's also lots of outdoor riding pasture.

I charge $535 a month, board is 265 + tax per month that includes food shelter and a wonderful safe facility for your horse.

I also encourage owners to come and enjoy watching me work with there horse as much as possible and being apart of the training process.

I am a soft trainer who loves her job I treat and care for every horse in my training program as if it is my own. 

I will take horses for 30 days but prefer to have them for 60.

I ride each horse 6 days a week and take Sundays off. 

I only take on 4 to 5 horses as to not over work myself, it keeps a lighter atmosphere for the horses as im not rushing to get horses rode. 

Horse starting, refreshers in all disciplines. I also offers riding lessons and have many great horses for sale of my own and for clients.
