Hazelbrae Acres offers rehab and retirement boarding for your special equine friend. The 40 acre farm is located on Highway 16, just  beside the town of Stony Plain - easy access from the west side of Edmonton,  Alberta.

All horses are checked daily by the mother daughter team of Tiffanie Adams-Hutnan and Cyndie Adams-Crook. Both Cyndie and Tiffanie are experienced horse people and have run their horse boarding facility in the Stony Plain area since 1995.

Tiffanie currently trains and competes Coachella, her homebred Holsteiner-bred mare in the jumper circuit, and Cyndie trains and succesfully competes Solaz, a homebred Connemara / Dutch warmblood gelding and Sierra, a Connemara / Thoroughbred mare in Combined Driving Events.

MJM HORSE SERVICES

I am located in Stony Plain, Alberta. I put time into horses that they need, start horses in the direction the need to go, and help horses that have "issues" and just need taming and handling done.

My price range is reasonable and workable, from $225 to $500. GST is included and board is $175/month additional.

HORSEPLAY AND HARMONY

Horseplay and Harmony is a clinic series focused on teaching safe and responsible trick horse training to all ages of horses and handlers. We offer clinics across Alberta and beyond to both small and large groups.

Want to learn how to train your horse to peform tricks but can't make the weekend clinic commitment? Amanda Preston from Horseplay and Harmony is offering one-on-one trick-horse lessons at Heatherdown Hills Arena located between Stony Plain and Onoway.

Horseplay and Harmony have been featured at numerous events througout Alberta including Mane Event, Northland's Farm and Ranch Show, WELCA's RCMP Musical Ride and more!

Our priority is teaching SAFE and RESPONSIBLE trick-horse training in an enjoyable setting. This training is ideal for horses who are ring sour, recovering from an injury, young horses beginning training, bonding and deepening communication with your horse and leadership.

My name is Hailey and I have been working, training, riding and showing horses for 8 years. I have the strong nature and soft hand needed to get a colt or full grown horse successfully through the training process to become a well mannered, level headed riding partner.

I am willing to work with horses of any age, size, and amount of training including drafts, ponies, older or younger unhandled horses and horses that have bad fears, behaviours, or have had a negative upbringing.

Depending on the horse and the discipline of your choice the time needed to successfully bring the horse to that mind frame can vary.

I can help you and your equine partner to become a better team in the following disciplines listed below.

CP EQUINE SERVICES

NOW OFFERING HALTER BREAKING/ GROUNDWORK

I grew up around horses, and have been working with colts for 10 yrs now. I most enjoy doing groundwork/ ground manners. For the past few years I have been buying/ selling colts over the spring- fall months. I have now decided to open my services to the public!!!

Specializing in halter breaking and ground work. Preparing your horse for a brighter future!!

Offering services starting at $300/ spring-fall month; This includes free choice pasture (summer), water, and mineral/ salt lick.

Horses are checked on daily. I like to give each horse 1-3 days off each week. I integrate each horse into my small herd over a period of a week to two weeks. All depending on the temperament of each horse. I run on 43 acres of rolling/ treed land. The land is fenced and cross fenced with access to a corner of the barn for shelter.

First available spot starting in July 2014. Only 2 spots available per mth. First come first serve. $100 non-refundable Deposit Required to save your spot.

ESPRIX STABLES

Esprix Stables is established on a ¼ section just south west of Stony plain, it is the home of High Performance Riding Club and 25+ horses. Within the club is an active competitive group of Show Jumpers as well as Therapeutic Lessons led by Sheri. Therapeutic Lessons provide riders of all abilities to enjoy riding as a therapy as well as recreation. This program can be run year round with the facilities having a fully heated, large indoor arena with attached stabling area for the horses and riders.

Esprix stables is located 10m southwest of Stony Plain on 627 and a mile south from the four way where 627 and 770 meet.

We offer English lessons for all ages and levels. We train for hunter Jumpers and work with many other things. We offer summer camps as well.

Sheri Donner Watson is also a certified therapeutic trainer. She trains therapeutic for all ages and levels as well.

We offer horse board and horse training.

BRUICHLADDIE ACRES

Bruichladdie Acres has spots available for indoor board, group outdoor board and private pen board ( when available ).

We are located minutes from stony plain and spruce grove and 25 min outside of Edmonton. we are located right on Hwy 627 so the drive is convenient and all on paved, up kept roads.

Outdoor board includes group turnout with 3 feedings of hay a day and access to water and shelters at all times.

Indoor includes 12x12 stalls and one 16x14 stall in a heated , clean barn. Stalls are cleaned daily and horses are turned out in large private paddocks during the day.

All boarders have access to tack lockers, 70-150 heated indoor arena, jumps, 90-250 outdoor sand ring and trails.

We also have Hunter/Jumper and Dressage lessons available to those interested!

Spring is here and we are excited about launching our new web site and thrilled with our stallion line up.  Having realized that we need to be proactive and have only money earning, bred to the nine stallions.... we have four outstanding stallions for the 2013 breeding season.

Training
Amanda is now taking horses of all age and discipline, she has been training for us since we started Topnotch. She has trained some of the top cutting horses out there and is now expanding her knowledge. She is enjoying working on reining, working cow, pleasure and has even a warmblood recently. The feedback we get is amazing. She is gentle and the horses love her, the end result is a horse who respects it's owner but loves to do a job.We custom the training program to fit the horse and owners needs.

Boarding
Monthly indoor board: $600.00 includes being fed 4x daily, supplement, daily turn-out and blanketing.
7am feeding is alfalfa cubes, 12.5% pellets and Hoffman's mineral.
noon is 2 flakes of hay
5pm. Alfalfa cubes, beet pulp and milled flax
9pm. 2 flakes of hay
If you would like your horse on other supplements or feed this is the owners responsibility to supply.
Hot water wash bay.
Large tack up area with customer cupboards for all your extra horse stuff.
Note: All horses must be vaccinated for Eastern and Western Encephalitis, Tetanus, Equine Influenza, Strangles and Rhino before they can be admitted onto the property for boarding.  Proof of vaccinations must be provided prior to your horses scheduled arrival date.

When I first started doing farrier work I was about 14 years old, while working as a guide at a trail riding outfitters near Rocky Mountain House. It was always one of my favorite parts of the job.

I branched out on my own because I wanted to learn more and find out what is really going to benefit the horse. I carefully chose my farrier school that best suited my perspective on how and what I wanted to learn, Mission Farrier School in Snohomish, Washington. In my opinion this is the best farrier school in North America, hands down. There was seven of us in total who graduated that session, lots of one-on-one teaching and finding the answers to all the questions we could think of!

Between my six (or more) years of prior experience and being a graduate of Mission Farrier School, I am ready to accommodate all of your horses farrier needs!!
