Welcome to "Clearhills Farrier Services" and our new presence on the web. We have rebuilt our site in an effort to take advantage of new technology and share 'up to date' information with you via video, photos, and an 'online store', (coming soon) 

Working mainly in the 'Peace Country' of Northern Alberta, many of you know, we are dedicated to providing you and your horses with quality hoofcare. We have a love for all horses and as a result, tend to your horses needs in a gentle and loving fashion. 

My schooling took place in Ontario at the Seneca College farrier program, where in 1990 I graduated with High Honors and at the top of my class. I began my practice in South Western Ontario shoeing hunters and  jumpers, as well as western and english pleasure horses. After moving our practice to Alberta in 2003, I began shoeing a lot of western performance horses. These horses compete in a number of events including barrel racing, team roping and reining. 

In order to provide the best farrier service possible, it is imperative to keep current in new methods, techniques, products and hoofcare technology. I therefore, am an active member of the "Western Canadian Farriers Association" and the "American Farriers Association".
