CROSS FARRIER SERVICES

I am a local farrier looking to expand my clientele in the Edmonton and Camrose area. 

I am willing to travel however if I am called out for 3 or less horses I have to charge mileage. Mileage charges are based from Camrose.

 My prices range from:

$35-$40 per trim for regular sized horses.

$30- 35 for miniatures

$70 For draft horses

Discounts for over 4 horses can be worked out for regular clientele with well behaved horses.

Price range will depend on your horses temperament throughout the appointment. I am willing to work with all horses at their own pace however I ask that you are able to pick up all four feet without incident before I am willing to work with them.

RONNIE FLEMING HORSE TRAINING

I am currently training horses at a indoor arena just east of camrose.

if anyone wants their colts started, I can do it for $700 plus outdoor board which is $300.
1000$ and you can have yourself a broke horse from thirty days, not like most of the trainers take your horse and ride it five or ten times, I ride thirty rides.

When horses are done my thirty day program, they are slide stoping, loping collected, understanding the concept of crossing over neck reining guiding at a lop, trot and walk. This is not my job, it is my passion and I live for helping people be able to ride their horses; rank and wild to quiet and gentle I will ride them all.

I trained for two years with a cutting horse trainer near fort Saskatchewan.

ANCHOR J RANCH

At Anchor J Arena we specialize in training team roping horses. In the last 7 years, we have trained and rode 7 different horses at the Canadian Finals Rodeo with 4 championships won on 2 of the horses. We also provide private team roping lessons, roping schools, riding lessons, farrier services and horse boarding services. Stop by Camrose and check us out. We would love to do business with you!

Boarding

Anchor J Arena has ample outdoor pens for horse boarding. Most of our pens have large horse shelters and automatic waterers. Horses are fed good hay and bedded with ample straw. There is lots of room for tack etc. in the barn. There are 2 arenas on site to be used at your convenience, an indoor and an outdoor. The indoor arena has an attached heated coffee room. The cost for horse board is $250/month for group pens. Private pens are $400 per month and are on a first come first serve basis.

Training

Anchor J Arena specializes in training team roping horses. We have indoor and outdoor facilities to be used year round. We always keep a mixture of fast and slow cattle around and have heel-o-matics available at all times for training. Anchor J Arena has trained several horses that have been ridden at the Canadian Finals Rodeo and 4 Canadian Championships have been won atop Anchor J horses. Cost is $800/month + GST. Included when you book your horse in for 2+ months training is free team roping lessons to be booked at your leisure. Lessons taught by Brett, Cody, Justin or Dirk McCarroll.

AWARENESS ACADEMY

Sandy Wittynek has worked and communicated with horses on many levels over the past four decades. She has competed in many disciplines and for the past twenty years has helped thousands of horses with her TruTouch Therapy.

Sandy is trained and certified in many modalities of holistic therapies and believes that just one modality can not stand alone.  Each horse requires a combination of techniques to perform at their highest ability.

Sandy's desire to help more and more horses led to sharing her expertise with other's wishing to help their horses live happier and healthier lives.  Her TruTouch Equine Therapy Workshops offer a unique experience for all horse lovers to learn to communicate with their horses on another level while inspiring the people, themselves, to build their power and confidence in life.  As a High Performance Coach, Sandy enjoys inspiring and instructing others with her Competitive Edge programs in combination with her TruTouch Therapy for a total transformational change for those seeking more out of life.

Exceptional Hanoverians

In April 2012, George and Glenys purchased an Equestrian Facility located just west of the city of Camrose with a heated indoor arena and barn, outside sand ring and grass rings. They continue the family tradition of breeding and training of exceptional Hanoverians at this new facility.

George’s family raised Hanoverians in Germany for many decades and is the first of his family to raise them here in Canada. With the help of his wife, Glenys, and sons, Matthew and Christian he strives to raise rideable, competitive horses from top bloodlines like Satisfaction, Fabriano, Rascalino, Likoto and Graf Top, to name a few. 

In an effort to ensure exceptional brood stock, we start all the mares under saddle to evaluate their temperament, correctness and abilities so we are only breeding the best mares. With a strict health program which includes vaccinations, deworming and farrier work we also want a horse that is healthy in mind and body.
