FOUNDATION EQUINE SERVICES
English and Western Riding Lessons - Will Travel To You!
Is your horse taking over? It’s time to take the control back!
I am here to support and help you, specializing in working with ground issues that plague both horse and rider. Building confidence, awareness, respect and knowledge are key to having a safe and productive relationship with your horse. Ground issues typically morph into behavioral issues that can affect how your horse acts and reacts while you’re riding, while they are stabled or out with other horses. A lot of people send their horses with problems like this out to a 3rd party person, like a trainer. While this is a great fix, most of the time when the horse returns to the owner sees problems re-surface in a matter of time. I work with the horse and rider together, in their home environment where both are most comfortable and relaxed, to resolve issues long term.
Specializing in :
Both English & Western Lessons (Beginner-Advanced)
Leading & Ground Tying Issues
Building The Confident Rider & Respectful Horse
Bad Habit Rehabilitation (Not Limited to : biting, pushing, kicking etc)
Successful Animal Communication
Effective Round Pen/Lunging Techniques
Saddle Fitting (English & Western)
The Experience That Drives Meaghan to help others:
I have been immersed in the horse world roughly fifteen years now. Starting out showing Hunter’s I quickly discovered my passion for Reining type horses as well. Being employed with a large breeding and showing operation in my early years of riding let my passion for horses flourish. Out of high school I attended the BC College of Equine Studies which only broadened my knowledge and experience. Although a recent arrival to the Calgary area, I spent the last 2 years on Vancouver Island working with problem horses and frustrated riders. I strive to instill the proper foundation and understanding to both horse and rider so that they can continue on to excel in any discipline they so desire.

ALBERTA BLUE VALENTINES
We have carefully tailored our breeding program to concentrate on the Blue Valentine bloodline and have some of the highest percentage Blue Valentine horses available today. I firmly believe that the Blue Valentine bloodline is one of the most diverse quarter horse lineages and is able to excell into many different directions from pasture to arena. Blue Valentine has been voted one of the all time top ten ranch sires in AQHA history, as quoted in Western Horse Magazine Oct 2007.

HORSE CREEK ANIMAL CHIROPRACTIC
Horse Creek Animal Chiropractic was founded with the conviction that the animals that provide us so much joy, deserve the same level of musculoskeletal care that we give to our fellow humans. While Chiropractic care for animals isn't new, it has recently gained a high level of acceptance, as more people understand the dramatic benefits it can provide. Whether you desire a higher level of comfort and performance for your horse, or wish to provide your dog or other animal with pain-relief from an injury, chiropractic is a wise decision.

CREMONA VETERINARY CLINIC
The Cremona Veterinary Clinic is a mixed animal facility that
primarily focuses on preventative care, medical care, obstetrical care,
and surgical care of dogs, cats, horses and beef cattle. We also work
with sheep, goats, camelids (llamas and alpacas), and occasionally
rabbits, pigs, ranched bison/elk, and poultry. Unfortunately we do not
treat pet birds, pocket pets (gerbils/hamsters, etc), reptiles,
pot-bellied pigs, or exotic or wild animals. The reason for this is that
we work very hard to keep our knowledge current, and we’re sure you can
imagine that having more than ten species to keep up with is quite
difficult for our veterinarians! We want to provide you with the best
care possible for your animals, and want you to feel confident that we
will treat your livestock and pets exactly as we would treat them if
they were our own.
Our clinic is located on a small, pretty acreage about a mile outside of the Village of Cremona. It has a spacious and bright reception/retail area, two small animal examination rooms (one doubles as an x-ray room), a lab, some office space, a small animal treatment room, a pharmacy, a surgery suite, cattle loading chutes, a cattle tilt-table, a maternity/surgery chute, an indoor equine treatment/dentistry area, and a calf scour ward. We have the ability to hospitalize small animal cases overnight, but we do not board pets, or keep any livestock overnight on the premises.

TRUSTED TRAINING
Welcome to Trusted Training with Jon Cooper.
I am a full time colt starter and trainer nestled in the beautiful valley of Water Valley, Alberta. I believe in good sound teachings with an attitude of establishing a partnership through leadership. As a certified instructor for both Western and English, I provide both private and semi private lessons year round. I operate out of Rivers Edge Camp where I am the equine coordinator. We run horsemanship camps and equine training programs during the summer and an apprenticeship program to help prepare individuals in the equine world, equipping them with the skills necessary to train and run a horse business themselves.
Operating as a full time horse boarding facility with both indoor and out door board with reasonable rates. Our clients have the freedom to roam over the 300 acres of land, enjoying the peace and beauty of the valley or ride in the outdoor arena looking at the Canadian rockies in the west.
As a coach with the Certified Horsemanship Association (CHA) I strive to give my students not only lessons in horsemanship but also the tools necessary for each student to help their own horse progress in it’s training. Each lesson runs about an hour long with the opportunity to continue on practicing after the lesson depending on scheduling.
