POSITIVE EQUINE THERAPY

Equine Body Work and Saddle Fit

My Facebook page is Positive Equine Therapy.

I am a certified Advanced Equine Sports Massage and Vertebral Alignment Therapist. I have also added Saddle fit, hoof assessment and sheath and teat cleaning into my program.

If your horse has behavioral issues that you just cannot pin point or train out of him, he may be in pain.

Does your Saddle sit funny? Maybe your horses performance just doesn't seem as up to par lately. Or maybe something seems a little off in his hind end.

Perhaps the gunky job of cleaning your horse... "under there" gives you the Willie's.

My sessions typically last anywhere from half hour to 2-3 hours, depending on the issues found. I add Saddle fit, sheath cleaning, and hoof assessment into the price so it is a packaged deal if I am doing body work on your equine partner.

If you want just Sheath cleaning or just a saddle fitting I can do those separate if needed.

I will travel throughout central alberta.
Please feel free to text, message or call me with questions, to book, or looking for more details.

FOUNDATION EQUINE SERVICES

English and Western Riding Lessons - Will Travel To You!

Is your horse taking over? It’s time to take the control back!
I am here to support and help you, specializing in working with ground issues that plague both horse and rider. Building confidence, awareness, respect and knowledge are key to having a safe and productive relationship with your horse. Ground issues typically morph into behavioral issues that can affect how your horse acts and reacts while you’re riding, while they are stabled or out with other horses. A lot of people send their horses with problems like this out to a 3rd party person, like a trainer. While this is a great fix, most of the time when the horse returns to the owner sees problems re-surface in a matter of time. I work with the horse and rider together, in their home environment where both are most comfortable and relaxed, to resolve issues long term.

Specializing in :
Both English & Western Lessons (Beginner-Advanced)
Leading & Ground Tying Issues
Building The Confident Rider & Respectful Horse
Bad Habit Rehabilitation (Not Limited to : biting, pushing, kicking etc)
Successful Animal Communication
Effective Round Pen/Lunging Techniques
Saddle Fitting (English & Western)

The Experience That Drives Meaghan to help others:
I have been immersed in the horse world roughly fifteen years now. Starting out showing Hunter’s I quickly discovered my passion for Reining type horses as well. Being employed with a large breeding and showing operation in my early years of riding let my passion for horses flourish. Out of high school I attended the BC College of Equine Studies which only broadened my knowledge and experience. Although a recent arrival to the Calgary area, I spent the last 2 years on Vancouver Island working with problem horses and frustrated riders. I strive to instill the proper foundation and understanding to both horse and rider so that they can continue on to excel in any discipline they so desire.

CZECH MATE TRAINING

COLT STARTING / HORSE TRAINING / BAREFOOT TRIMMING / LESSONS

I offer starting of young horses (colts) and help with common horse related problems: horses that don't like to load in the trailer, stand for your farrier, pull while tied, spook around traffic, desensitizing to plastic tarps, livestock and much, much more. If there are other, more specific, concerns you might have, I can do my best to assist with those as well.I also offer private one on one riding and horsemanship lessons. I strongly believe that they are great for anyone interested in building a solid foundation and establishing trust and communication between a human and their four-legged friend. The lessons are also great for increasing your knowledge in tack, bits, saddle-fitting, etc.
I like to keep the sessions tailored to your needs as well as low key and fun for your enjoyment. Whether you want to ride in the arena or out on the trails is entirely up to you and what you feel comfortable with.

Also offering following:

DAN DEE RIO RANCHING

Our true love is cowhorses. Every horse we own is stocked full of cowhorse bloodlines. As you can see in our broodmare section, we are firm believers in the Pepinics Master bloodlines . We have ridden all these mares and they are all very cowy. These mares are all level headed and we are sure they will pass these attributes on to their foals.

IN 2014 we will be standing CIRCLE BAR GRAY GUN at DAN DEE RIO RANCHING at Castor. Please feel free to give us a call or stop by for a visit to check out some of his babies.

IN 2014 we will also be standing our young stallion Hot Silver Pistol at DAN DEE RIO RANCHING at Castor. His pedigree is packed full of champions on the top and bottom. There is no denying the genetics with this fellow.

We feel very fortunate to be standing two great stallions of this caliber and we would love for you to stop by for a visit.

Cindy also offers equine therapy services; Saddle fitting, structural realignment, nutritional assessments, massage therapy and stress issues are among some of the treatments Cindy is able to provide her clients. She has also provided treatments to people prior to competitions in order to strengthen their body/mind connection. She has been very pleased with these results.

Cindy's horse training and ranching background has helped her to understand the importance of the human-equine connection. Understanding the needs of the animal and being able to "read" them has been a big part of Cindy's success in her training. No matter what the discipline, the more you know your horse, the stronger the competitor you will be.

Cindy enjoys providing her clients with a holistic approach to restoring health. She holds certificates in Touch for Health, Body Management and Animal Management and recently graduated from the BC College of Equine Therapy as an Equine Sports Therapist. Cindy is also an instructor for the FIT Team (Foundation of Integrated Therapies for Animals) which was developed by Dave Collins, founder of the BC College of Equine Therapy. ELIZNEY EQUINE SPORT THERAPY

All you need to make your horse feel better!

Are you finding your horse is sore after being ridden? Is he/she mysteriously lame in the field or after a jump? Hocks swell after a cutting run? Bucks when you ask for that canter transition? Over all lethargic? Obese or too thin and not picking up or dropping weight? Or just needs a relaxing massage? Then I'm the person to call!

I'm an Equine Sport Therapist. I specialize in:
Structural assessments, horse massage therapy, aromatherapy, relaxation, nutritional assessments, accupressure, saddle fitting (western and english), emotional well being, pain relief, and finding a solution for that mysterious lameness.

Every horse should have a chance, so I work with horses from the back yard to the show ring. I've worked with and understand the muscle develope and involved with horses from a number of disciplines, from cutting, dressage, driving, to hunts, and your average very special back yard pony.

I also explain to you what I'm doing, why I do what I do along with giving you a sheet of assessment. This way you understand all that is going on with your horse. I believe this way allows for you to know your horse's history and be a part of the healing journey with me and your horse.

Spots are filling up fast, I look forward to hearing from you!

DOUBLE DIAMOND STABLES

Double Diamond Stables Ltd. is accepting new boarders!  Indoor and Outdoor!

Don't miss out on this great opportunity to get into Strathcona County's newest boarding stable, before it's full!  Located 5 miles north of Hiway 16 on RR 215, it is a short 10 minute drive from either Sherwood Park or Fort Saskatchewan.
As you drive up you will see an immaculately kept property, with all white pipe fence and "no climb" mesh.  The barn is nicely finished, with 12 x 12 stalls with comfort foam mats and a boarder tack room.  The stalls also have heat lamps and heated water buckets in the winter.  The brand new, 80 x 200 indoor arena is finished and ready to ride in.  The over-sized grass paddocks allow the horses room to move around and play.
Pasture board will include free choice round bales, as well as salt and access to fresh water at all times.  Semi-private paddock board will include forked hay, or free-choice, depending on body type (easy keeper or hard keeper) 2x day, salt and access to fresh water at all times.

Indoor board will include daily turn-out (unless poor weather), feeding 2x per day, salt and access to fresh water at all times.  All board includes access to the boarder tack room and the indoor arena.
There will be no lesson programs in place, so it allows plenty of arena time for boarders to ride.  We are striving to create a fun, welcoming atmosphere where you can come and relax and enjoy your time with your horses.  We also welcome all disciplines!
Pasture Board - $250/month +GST
Semi-Private Paddock - $350/month +GST
Indoor Board - $500/month +GST
Call Candace to book your appointment to view the property, and reserve your spot today!
