Find professional health care for your animals from dogs and cats to horses and sheep at Pioneer Veterinary Services. We’re a locally owned animal hospital in Sundre with five professionally trained veterinarians. Fully licensed by the ABVMA, our veterinary clinic follows strict guidelines for proper large and small animal care. We can provide reproductive check ups, fill prescriptions, prepare papers for international travel, and perform health inspections. If you want to make sure you can keep up with your animal’s health concerns, our vets also provide educational services on the proper care for pets before and after surgery.

Special Interest in All Domestic Large Animals
At Pioneer Veterinary Services, we have a special interest in horses. We provide a wide array of equine health care services including dentistry, surgery, and nutrition. Several of our veterinarians focus on herd and farm animal health and make frequent house calls. Herd health management for dairy farms is also available.

4/7 Emergency Services
Our veterinarians are available by appointment only, but we do accept walk-ins though patients are subject to our vets’ availabilities. In case of emergencies, we’re on call 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. For those with large animals such as horses, buffalo, or cattle, house calls are offered so you don’t have to worry over transportation to our clinic. We do encourage that all small animals like dogs and cats be brought to our clinic for appointments.
