Offering horse training just 30 minutes north of Edmonton close to Red Water with an indoor arena 85x110, heated barn,outdoor arena 200x180, several round pens, paddocks and pasture. Each horse in training is in a private paddock with automatic water and great quality hay.

Ten years experience training horses and am a certified equine specialist with many references available upon request. Worked with horses from all walks of life and all different breeds.With horses being an energy based animal especially revolving around their nervous system in how they work/react, I work with horses in such a way to build a solid foundation starting on the ground. Each horse progresses and moves forward in different ways making having different techniques vital to carrying through the training needed.

I am located in Stony Plain, Alberta. I put time into horses that they need, start horses in the direction the need to go, and help horses that have "issues" and just need taming and handling done.

My price range is reasonable and workable, from $225 to $500. GST is included and board is $175/month additional.

I graduated from Oklahoma Horseshoeing School in Dec of 2004.

I do hot and cold shoeing for most performance horses and trimming for donkeys, drafts and minis.

I give a six week guarantee on my shoes, if one comes lose or goes missing I will put it back on for free as soon as possible.

I carry a wide selection of shoes, glues and pads, and can hand make any shoe we might need. I also have experience fixing cracks.

I believe that a properly balanced trim will maintain a healthy foot and a sound horse.

I provide my services for most of the peace region and will work with your vet if the need arises.

EAGLE HILL EQUINE

LOCATED 25 minutes NW of Olds and 15 minutes NE of Sundre, this beautiful training and boarding facility is immaculately... kept!

There is a well groomed large Outdoor Arena and Track, hot-walker, a HUGE 100x200 newer Indoor Arena, three Tack Rooms, Heated Coffee Room and enclosed heated wash rack room, large Indoor AND Outdoor Round Pens,and Foaling Barn. Clean good sized turnout pens for Indoor Boarders close to the barns and arena, and lovely super large grassy paddocks with shelters for Outdoor Boarders! Pasture Board is also available. Only top quality hay is fed.

For those interested in hacking or trail riding, this property borders Crown Land along Little Red Deer River and has great trail-riding too.

This facility lacks nothing and the horses are happy and well cared for by very experienced and qualified staff.

Cooke Livestock still continues to breed purebred Black Angus cattle. The current, smaller herd is built on the success of our previous breeding program. It’s amazing how fast time goes by.
