As well as horses in our placement program, we often list others by referral. Performance Standardbreds was established in 1990 by a few Standardbred enthusiasts who realized the animal's enormous potential use for riding or driving. The Standardbred is one of the most versatile breeds by far. By age three, there are many already starting their second careers. Throughout their early years, the foundation has been established and now it's onwards and upwards for these athletic, sturdy, sensible horses. Jumping, dressage, endurance and competitive trail - there really is no limit to what they can accomplish!

Recognizing the potential of and the need to give these horses that are no longer able to race new lives, Performance Standardbreds promotes the breed in a new and positive light.

We offer a scenic 80 acres boarding and training facility just minutes outside of Nisku and Beaumont. Our clean and spacious facility offers the perfect opportunity for both the recreational rider or for quality training of your standardbred.

• A Horse Care/Riding/Driving Retreat for adults and children that want to get into the "muck of it all" before purchasing a horse.
• A Retreat from " May - September", get away from your acreage. Tired of riding alone or ditch riding? Come join us. 

We have miles of marked trails from passed Endurance Rides for private or group lessons on your own horse.
We have a bunkhouse that sleeps 4, 2 riding ring, and 6 miles of groomed trails for trail riding and Endurance training right on farm property.
As well as a Grass Driving Track.
The stables has proudly hosted 2 ERA rides.
With the generosity of our neighboring farmers, we have an extra 30 miles in trails.

*1st "HORSE GENTLING/STARTING HORSES/DRIVING/SADDLE UP/RING SCHOOLING/TRAIL/ ALL ON THE PROPERTY. Train along with your coach & horse.
*2nd.A LEVEL 2 AEF ENGLISH COACH " Susanna Rauhaut". Fine tune yourself and horse or use a school horse. Paddocks /Pasture board available from May - September, for boarders that wish to train here.
