HILLSIDE ACRES EQUESTRIAN CENTER

Hillside Acres is a family owned and operated equestrian center. We are located in the beautiful rolling foothills of Alberta, Just 35 minutes SW of Calgary. Both English and Western riding styles are more than welcome here at our facility! Our goal is to help each horse and rider become a team.

FAMILY FRIENDLY FACILITY, ON OVER 300 ACRES OF THE ROLLING FOOTHILLS.
 
Pasture, private paddock (one available), and stalls beginning @ $250 + g.s.t. 95% post and rail fencing. Quality hay, salt & auto waterers. Someone on site pretty much 24/7.
 
Heated tack, and coffee room.
 
Weekly events geared towards all levels of riders. Gymkhana, cow lessons, beginner horsemanship lessons, sorting and penning.
 
Plenty of open time in arena for boarders who just want to ride. 

SWEET TALK STABLES

Sweet Talk Stables specializes in a complete western and english horseback riding lesson program.

Located 8 minutes east of Calgary in Chestermere, we help horseback riders achieve their goals at any level.

Sweet Talk Stables is the perfect private family environment for both the horse and rider. At Sweet Talk Stables you have access to our 70x230 heated indoor riding arena, watch from the heated viewing room. When the weather is just right you can ride in our large outdoor riding arena, use the round pen or go for a cross country ride. We are so close that Starbucks, Tims and Safeway are only 5 minutes away. Now that's roughing it!

SPRINGHAVEN RANCH

5 minutes North of Okotoks

Currently booking horses of all ages for training from two year olds to finished horses. 

220x90 indoor arena, round pen, Heelomatic and mechanical flag.

We offer beginner to advanced riding lessons in multiple equestrian disciplines from reining, working cowhorse, trail riding, barrel racing, pole bending and team roping.

All lessons have a strong focus on horsemanship. Group and single lessons available. Upcoming gymkhana practice and jackpot nights.

60 day colt starting program focusing on confidence, trust and feel. Main goal is to develop a working partnership between horse and rider.

Ryan is the son of cowhorse trainers Ron Echlin and Lindy Barron and Jill grew up on a working cattle ranch. Together we have traveled and trained horses in Europe, Australia and Canada. Multiple years experience in 4H, High School Rodeo, College Rodeo, Canadian All Girls Rodeo, Team Roping and Team Penning . Will build programs to suit horse and rider.
