Congratulations Lisa Friedenberg & Mocha on their performance at Spruce Meadows 2010 on behalf of Team Pinto in the Telus Battle of the Breeds Competition.
ReplyDeleteYour stables looks great my friend and I might move our horse here
ReplyDeleteI do not recommend boarding here. I have no idea why there aren't more reviews. Everyone I have talked to agree with me on a big NO for boarding.
ReplyDeleteI very temporarily boarded my horse at these facilities and it was horrible. Within the very short time I was there, my horse dropped several hundred pounds. Their fencing is falling down, the arena has huge leaking problems, and there is absolutely no grass anywhere for horses to freely graze. In the large pen there's lots of weeds to eat, but ONLY in the summertime.
This barn is okay to ride and take lessons with on a lesson horse if you're fairly novice, but almost no one has done anything at the barn.
Several hundred pounds? Uhhh....
DeleteMy horse also lost several hundred pounds here in 3 months. The hay is moldy and pasture is all weeds. Horses are always getting sick or injure.
DeleteThis barn is known in the local industry to be very overcrowded with very little to no grass available. The lessons are there to generate money, not to improve rider skills. Riders do not stay there - once they look around a bit they move on to other barns with smaller lesson sizes and better instructors.
ReplyDeleteThey have battled strangles the past 6 months. Avoid at all cost
ReplyDeleteIt really is the worst for boarding. Overcrowded, horses get sick and injured all the time, and the dust in the arena is so bad. Owners don’t care about the horses, it’s all about the money for them.
