Who wouldn't mind having more confidence when handling or riding their horse? I don’t know of anyone who would object. Confidence is the cornerstone to fun and success with our horse. I also believe that our confidence level, is in direct proportion to the effectiveness of our plan. The plan of what we do and how we do it, when we have the opportunity to spend time with our horse. The Confidence Building Clinic gives you this plan!
This is the ultimate confidence builder for both the handler and the horse. The Foundations of Ground Training is at the top of the list of the most important education for both the handler and the horse that they will ever receive and must know! Often it is overlooked or gone over so quickly that it's not solid. Done correctly, the horse will be able to branch out in almost any direction when they progress to being ridden. A solid Foundation is the key to success in the saddle, avoiding/correcting behavioral issues and preparing a horse for Mounted Training. John will give you the inspiration, skills and confidence to create a more rewarding relationship with your horse.

The Clinic is a 2 day horsemanship clinic which teaches very specific concepts, understood by learning and performing specific activities, which in turn enable every participant to accomplish the following:

• Increase control and safety and reduce conflict and frustration
• Overcome and break through fears
• Identify and Overcome problems in your horse relationship
• Develop confidence and willingness in your horse
• Become the effective leader your horse wants and needs
• Maximize the time you spend with your horse
• Develop a routine and a plan for continued success
• Improve horsemanship skills, especially horsemanship through feel
• Have the fun with your horse you’ve always dreamed of!

The Confidence Building Clinic is effective because:
• Limited participants – clinics are limited to a maximum of 10 participants.
• Extensive hands on coaching for each individual.
• Proven concepts and techniques which work for every horse and every rider.
• You’ll leave with a specific plan for continued success.
• Gained understanding of new philosophies, concepts and techniques which will revolutionize your horse relationships from the ground and in the saddle.
• You learn how to develop a specific training plan for you and your horse.

This clinic is approximately 50% groundwork and 50% riding. The Confidence Building Clinic is excellent for lesser experienced or green horses, less confident handlers and more confident rider. In other words, if you are comfortable riding your young or green horse around in a snaffle bit, this clinic would benefit you greatly.
