August 2014 - Hero of The Wild Pink Yonder;
Sometimes knights in shining armour drive a white truck.
One of our riders discovered that boots were not working for her horse and she couldn’t go any further without having her horse shod.
But the farrier-on-call in the Crowsnest Pass was in Edmonton.
So one of our riders called his buddy, Clay McConnell in Red Deer. After working all day, Clay jumped in his white truck and charged way down here to shoe Amy’s mare. That’s over 200 miles! At Midnight!!
