C-HORSE EQUESTRIAN CENTER

C-Horse Equestrian Center is a show jumping facility located in Dewinton, Alberta, offering coaching and training for all levels of hunters and jumpers. The C-Horse team is led by Rita Condon, an EC Level 2 Coach with over 40 years of experience. Rita specializes in coaching and training elite equine athletes and their riders.

C-Horse Saddle Up Club - 6 Week Introduction to Riding Starts September 6, 2014

C-Horse Equestrian is offering an extensive 6 week program designed for kids ages 6-16 with little or no riding experience. We offer experienced horses, quality instruction, and a safe environment to learn in. Our goal is to produce well rounded riders, that will have a lifelong passion for horses.

$300 registration fee for 6 weeks; A $600 value!

Schedule:

9:00am -10:00am Riding Lesson Group A 6-11 years old
10:15am -10:45am Ground Lesson Group A &B
10:45am -11:15am Theory Lesson Group A &B
11:30am -12:30pm Riding Lesson Group B 12- 16 years old

On Horse Lessons:

• Learn to mount, dismount, walk, trot, canter
• How to stop, go, turn, and maintain proper balance
• Simple patterns and obstacles

Ground Lessons:

• Learn to catch, lead, groom, tack and be safe around horses
• How to clean tack, lunge, bandaged, and general stable management

Theory Lessons:
• Anatomy, colours and markings, horse body language, general care
• Different styles of riding, equipment, patterns
