ENERGY EQUINE VETERINARY SERVICES

Energy Equine Veterinary Services was founded in 2006 by Dr. Chad E. Hewlett. As an Ambulatory Equine Practice, Dr. Hewlett focused primarily on Sports Medicine, with an interest in soundness evaluation.

In 2014, the one veterinarian practice will have grown to four veterinarians. The services available to clients seem to be ever expanding as well.

At Energy Equine we are very pleased to be able to offer regenerative treatments such as Prolotherapy, IRAP, PRP, Stem Cells, and Shockwave; along with traditional western medicine, as well as complementary therapies such as acupuncture.

Sarah Rutley is our Equine Sports Therapist, Equine Body Worker, AHT. She offers;

Throughout the past 35 years of riding and training horses and 20 years as a nurse I knew that there had to be a less invasive way to keep horses and riders healthy and pain free. BARR-NORTH VETERINARY SERVICES

Our Mission

To give superior customer service.
To be a patient advocate which means that we are going to recommend the ideal treatment plan for each patient then work with owners to decide on a workable plan.  In our herd health situations, we will work with producers to meet their individual farm goals.

Our large animal services in the clinic include complete exams of cows, horses, sheep, goats, and alpacas. Routine surgeries like LDA's, cesarean sections, castrations, cancer eyes, etc., pregnancy ultrasounds, teeth floating, dysctocias (problems birthing) on all species and treatment of sick animals. We can do x-rays on limbs and lab work in-house.

On the farm, we provide herd healths for the dairy producers, pregnancy checking, semen testing, complete exams, horse castrations, lameness, teeth floating, and health export testing and papers.

Dr Cerah Bowyer also offers Acupuncture and Chiropractic manipulations.

Karissa LeMay offers equine massage.

STONE WILLOW VETERINARY SERVICE

Stone Willow Veterinary Service is large animal ambulatory veterinary practice that is owned and operated by Ken and Marlene Vanderwekken.

 Established in the fall of 2007 it is establishing a reputation on providing reliable personal service. The focus of our practice is large animal only with a special interest in equine health. We provide general health care for horses centering on preventative care. We also provide veterinary care for your horse when something unforeseen happens.  General medicine and surgery are areas very familiar to us.

Of particular interest are areas where we take extra consideration. We take great pride in providing a combination of special modalities to give your horse the best care we know how to give. Animal chiropractic and veterinary acupuncture can provide your horse with relief from many problems including back and limb pain. Equine dentistry is a well established part of our practice. Dentistry is so much more than just floating teeth.  An equine athlete that has a sound body and a healthy mouth is able to perform to its full potential.

Ken and Marlene take great pride in getting to know our clients and enjoy our business with them. Our intention is to keep our business small enough to provide personal service to all who contact us.Our focus is on giving personal service to people as we care for their animals.
