WINDING ROAD HORSE TRAINING

At Winding Road Horse Training I specialize in starting colts, putting on miles on green broke horses, tune-ups, and creating that all around ranch horse that can be used for various things. Horses are exposed to many situations and different types of terrain creating a trusting partnership when the training is done. 

Your horse will be treated with a loving/ gentle/ respectful hand with no fear or pain involved.

Book early as a very limited number of horses accepted. 

Also take a limited number of colts to start over the winter as well.  

$1000 month including feed.

REVIEW: 

Canadian Horse Training Championship, August 19-22

Organizers: Ivan Daines and Joel Martens.   

judges: Ken Schmuland, Dale Keates, and Jamie Dodds.   

This was a colt starting competition between nine trainers from BC and AB. We were given four days with a 1 hour session each day. The horses were all unbroke 2yr old fillies that were not halter broke. Horses were drawn for the first morning and then the sessions started.
