Horse Boarding Available near Thorsby Haymaker Center

Red Iron Ranch is now open for boarders. Located 15 minutes North West of Thorsby, half hour South of Stoney Plain, and half hour West of Leduc. 80 acres located on a quiet dead end road, ½ mile South of the North Saskatchewan River.

Boarding options available include and are not limited to:*Basic Pasture Board –includes pasture or pen with shelter, clean water troughs or waterers, grass or hand fed hay 2-3 times daily, (hard keepers can go on a round bale feeder), salt & mineral blocks,straw provided in the winter, and access to indoor storage for tack, round pen, outdoor riding pen, hayfield, and quiet roads to ride on. Trailer storage available. Horses are checked at least 3 times daily. $150/month

*Added Pasture Board – includes same as basic plus blanketing and grain/supplements twice a day, (will supply a certain amount of our grain, or you supply yours at your cost). $200/month

*Senior Board – includes same as basic plus grain/supplements, beet pulp, and blanketing. Option for senior horses to go in smaller groups. $200/month

*Medical Board- includes a private pen and whatever care the horse needs. Blanketing and grain/supplements available at extra cost if needed. $200-$300/month

Western horse trainer on site 80% of the time with over 20 years of experience in the industry and close to 10 years of experience in the field of vet medicine. Owner rides full time so many opportunities to have someone to ride with. Rehab horses and seniors welcome.
