XW RANCH

Here on the XW Ranch we are striving to hold to some of the values held by those generations that came before us. Things like honesty, integrity, quality and perseverence. We hope that by building upon these values, we may continue to move forward, producing better people and better horses for those generations that will come after us.

The ranching industry today is challenging and yet very exciting! Here at the ranch we have taken these challenges and seen them as oppurtunities to invest in the future of our Canadian ranching industry. We feel that part of that future lies deep in the roots of the past, choosing to work with the natural ways of our land, environment, and most importantly our livestock. Combining open country with cattle, cow horses, and people that are like minded....there isn't much more we can ask for. Our goal is to produce a top quality ranch horse that excels in every job; whether working stock out of the rodear, branding calves, trailing pairs, checking fence (we don't own a quad!) or sorting bulls....did I mention branding calves! We enjoy it all, and we really enjoy it on our horses. It seems like they keep getting better with each new season.

As time goes on, our desire is to learn all that we can, for if we quit learning then we have quit trying, and that is not fair to you or the horse. We know that we have lots to learn, but we also believe that there is nothing better for a well bred cow horse than good old fashioned ranch work. We hope you enjoy looking through our horses and we would love to hear from you.
