Boarding Available

20 min SE of Sherwood Park, 25 min SE of Edmonton. Just south of highway 14

Our brand new facility offers 5 large stalls, private lockable tack lockers, a huge regularly maintained 100 x 200 outdoor arena, a grassy viewing area near the arena and barn which offers a picnic table, or choose to relax on the patio under our 10' overhang after your ride.

Horses boarded indoors will receive daily turn out in a large group field with the other inside horses (private turn out is available as well depending on availability). Blanketing, daily fly spray, and cubes/hay is all included in the indoor boarding price. Grain will be fed as per provided by the owner, however as a complimentary service we will do your grain shopping for you to save you the hassle of hauling it around.

Recovery board will also be available. Stall rest, hand walking, bandaging, administering medications etc. We are only a few minutes from West Wind and less than half an hour to several vets in the Sherwood Park area.

With over 20 years experience, several years of working under a skilled and busy trainer, years of dressage training, jumping as well as countless clinics and lessons, most recently I have been involved with barrel racing for the past 3 years, has all given me the tools I need to bring young horses along properly and to retrain horses for new careers. Colt starting is not available at this time.
Refreshers, miles, retraining, finishing is all available at $550/month includes board.
Haul in lessons available.

KYLA MCNALLY

I am taking horses who just need a refresher, miles or to be started, for western riding. 

I have references available and my rates are really affordable.

Customers are able to come any time to check and see how they are doing, as well as daily progress for you to look at when you pick up your horse or stop by! Located just outside of Barrhead. 

Please message me or call/text  and I can answer any questions that you may have! Have spots open $600.00 per month for refreshers, $800 for starting. Rates are for 30 days, 5-6 rides per week for at least an hour (Depending on the horse)

"Starting a horse isn't about what those call desensitizing. We can not remove a horse from being sensitive as that is their nature. Its an experiential opportunity full of trust and an ability to learn to not fear some of what they do not know or understand." 

Offering horse training just 30 minutes north of Edmonton close to Red Water with an indoor arena 85x110, heated barn,outdoor arena 200x180, several round pens, paddocks and pasture. Each horse in training is in a private paddock with automatic water and great quality hay.

Ten years experience training horses and am a certified equine specialist with many references available upon request. Worked with horses from all walks of life and all different breeds.With horses being an energy based animal especially revolving around their nervous system in how they work/react, I work with horses in such a way to build a solid foundation starting on the ground. Each horse progresses and moves forward in different ways making having different techniques vital to carrying through the training needed.

MJM HORSE SERVICES

I am located in Stony Plain, Alberta. I put time into horses that they need, start horses in the direction the need to go, and help horses that have "issues" and just need taming and handling done.

My price range is reasonable and workable, from $225 to $500. GST is included and board is $175/month additional.

GEMINI EQUESTRIAN

I am taking on 2 more clients for the November/ December months for colt starting, problem solving, trailering assitance, or for your older horse that needs a refresher with some groundwork basics and miles. Because I don't have yet have my facility estabilished, I am travelling to you and your horse and I can provide all tack and equipment if need be, English or Western. I highly suggest that owner or rider spend a couple sessions with myself and the horse so I am able to fully explain aids I have used, and give a couple lessons. If you have access to an indoor arena/ round pen, thats always helpful! If not, we can always make arrangements to travel locally.

I offer a $30 flat fee ( inlcuding mileage within reason ) to come to your place to meet your horse/horses and do an assessment.

Rates are as follows:
- Colt Starting ( Horses with 0 to Under 30 days ) : $700 a month for a minimum of two months.
* This includes working with the horse 4-5 days a week*

- Groundwork Refreshers and miles : $400-500 per month
* Includes working with the horse for 2-3 days per week *

- Problem Solving : $30 per session (up to 1.5 hours), per horse, plus mileage @ .50 Cents per Kilometre traveled.

I follow natural horsemanship techniques from the horseman that started it all; Tom Dorrance and Ray Hunt. I always put the horse first and I don't believe in using tools to force horses to do anything. With the proper foundation on the ground, and a kind heart with understanding to how the horse thinks, anything can be accomplished. Feel free to check out my website, and facebook page. Travel costs vary depending on where you are, good news is I'm cheapish when it comes to travel .50 for every km.

$500/ month for all horses just starting under the saddle.
$350/month for horses that need a refreshment course.
$300/month for halter breaking.
(These prices only include outside boarding and daily grooming, does not include deworming, vaccinations or farrier care.) 

We do not take studs as we are not set up to take studs, but I will come to them!

We are a small Mother - Daughter family run business, breeding Quarter horses (From Halter, Reining, cutting & roping bloodlines) and Appendix Quarter horses (From 4H & race track bloodlines) and APHA Running bred. We also do have a few grade horses and we love them to pieces!!

We breed our horses for the best conformation, speed, wits and willing to work minds, along with a strong pedigree behind it all.

We offer Adding Miles on and refreshments, Neck Reining, leg pressures, just ask!!
